6 Wonderful Cannabis Oil Benefits and Where You Can Buy CBD Oil
There are countless cannabis oil benefits. As someone who has suffered from depression triggered by abuse, I admire natural and alternative treatments that ease the symptoms of mental health issues. These natural remedies get additional brownie points if they bring physical relief, too. That’s why CBD oil is my current go-to health product.
CBD oil is my not-so-secret way of boosting my mind without turning to big pharma. One of my favourite things about CBD Oil is that scientific research shows that the oil is not addictive. I’m all about holistic medicine and non-traditional healing that doesn’t create dependencies.
Experimenting with new drugs or unproven herbs isn’t my cup of tea. Fortunately, humans have used CBD since the 1940s, and there’s a ton of studies that vouch for its benefits.
CBD oil isn’t cheap, especially if you’re in a country without cannabis cultivation. But despite its sometimes-costly price tag, I think it’s worth every cent.
The Top 6 Cannabis Oil Benefits: Why it’s Worth Every Cent
Millions of people take cannabis oil daily. Let’s look at why.
CBD Oil Reduces Anxiety
I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t have anxiety now and then. Don’t we all? CBD is an excellent remedy for those who suffer from a anxiety, panic attacks or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). A scientific study showed that participants with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) saw reduced anxiety after receiving 400 mg of CBD.
If you have anxiety or other forms of mental illness, be careful with THC (the stuff in Marijuana that gets you high). CBD oil with THC can trigger episodes. Don’t be alarmed – pure CBD (without THC) will not worsen anxiety. (See the section “Should You Buy CBD Oil with THC?” below for more information.)
CBD Oil Reduces Pain Relief
Many people who suffer from pain-inducing chronic illnesses swear CBD oil is the ‘holy grail’ of natural remedies. Researchers at Syracuse University found that CBD oil does indeed have pain relief effects. However, there’s still not a lot of heavy scientific research into the efficacy of using CBD oil for pain management. I’ve heard many positive stories, so I do believe that CBD oil helps relieve pain.
CBD Oil Helps Control Acne
As someone who had acne through my teens, I can confidently declare my hatred for it. I didn’t realise CBD oil could help acne until just recently. Oil is something that tends to trigger my acne. CBD oil boasts anti-inflammatory properties and therefore helps keep your skin under control. Why didn’t I learn this sooner?
CBD Oil Will Help You Sleep Better
If you’re like me, then you need your eight-hour beauty sleep. I’ve tried melatonin to help me fall asleep quicker, but CBD oil does the trick. Since my mind doesn’t always shut off, I find that CBD helps calm my body, and once my body is calm, my mind soon follows.
CBD Oil Will Help Stabilise Your Mood
Anxiety and Depression – two conditions that CBD oil helps treat – tend to cause mood swings. Since CBD oil also helps you get better sleep, it acts as a natural mood enhancer. And for the ladies, I’d recommend trying CBD oil while you’re menstruating.
CBD Oil Is A Great Epilepsy Treatment
While I don’t have epilepsy, research shows that cannabinol can help combat epilepsy, especially for those who don’t respond well to pharmaceutical drugs. I love knowing that CBD oil has positively impacted those who suffer from chronic illness and disease.
Should You Buy CBD Oil with THC?
Those new to the world of cannabis often think CBD oil will give them a high, and that’s often not the case. CBD oil can cause psychoactive effects if it contains Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Most CBD oils will have no more than 0.3% THC content.
If you’re using CBD oil to help with anxiety or depression, you probably want to stay clear of THC. CBD oil with THC probably won’t send you on a bad trip like edibles can, but it might increase your heart rate, which could heighten your anxiety.
If you like the euphoric effect of marijuana, you might want CBD oil with THC.
The Different Types of CBD Oil
There are three types of CBD oil – isolate, broad-spectrum, and full-spectrum.
Isolate
When you buy CBD oil isolate, you’re getting pure CBD with nothing else mixed in.
Broad Spectrum
CBD oil labelled as ‘broad-spectrum’ has all the components of the cannabis plant but no THC (the stuff that gets you high).
Full Spectrum
Full-spectrum CBD oil is essentially broad-spectrum oil plus THC.

My All-Time Favourite CBD Oil Brands (They Rock, Seriously)
I find that some of the best CBD Oil comes from the United States. Cannabis cultivation runs rampant in the states of California, Oregon, and Colorado.
You should buy CBD oil from a trusted source. I always do my research when purchasing something I put in my body (especially from the internet).
These are some of my all-time favourite CBD oil brands. They’re large enough that they offer a variety of tincture at terrific prices.
Lazarus Naturals
Based out of Oregon, Lazarus Naturals is a brand that strives to make CBD oil available to everyone who wants it. The brand offers a 60% discount to veterans, the disabled and low-income individuals. Note: this discount is available to residents of the United States only.
My personal favourite from Lazarus Naturals is the full-spectrum CBD oil tincture. You can pick from four flavours – Classic, Chocolate Mint, French Vanilla Mocha and Yuzu. I love the Chocolate Mint flavour because it does an excellent job at masking the cannabis taste.
Big Sky Botanicals
My second favourite brand is Big Sky Botanicals. The duo behind this brand has over 50 years of experience in the nutrition industry. Their experience speaks volumes to the quality of the products.
It feels like Big Sky Botanicals sells a bit of everything – CBD gummies, balm, full-spectrum and broad-spectrum oil tincture. You can also buy CBD-infused dog treats!
LEEF Organics
I’m obsessed with LEEF Organics’ non-GMO, 100% organic mission. Yes, you do pay a premium for the brand’s products, but it’s worth it. The store’s most popular product seems to be its THRIVAL Liquid Superfood – CBD Extract. This extract has tons of nutrients, and it’s super potent (375 mg of CBD). I also recommend trying the super-awesome STEEP – CBD Bath Tea.
Plant of Life
I had to include Plant of Life for all my Canadian friends out there. This company offers free shipping to all addresses in Canada. Plant of Life sells full-spectrum oil, disposable CBD pens, gummies, and a load of other CBD-infused goodies. The environmentally-conscious brand makes all its batches in its Ontario facility.

Where Can You Find Non-Biased Reviews?
Since you can’t buy CBD oil on Amazon, finding trustworthy reviews is a bit trickier. Whenever I’m trying a new brand, I like to read the CBD Community Subreddit. The moderators that run this community do an excellent job filtering out affiliate spam, so you know you’re reading 100% genuine reviews.
CBD and Hemp Oil: What’s the Difference?
CBD and hemp oil are not the same, and I want to make that clear. Hemp oil comes from the seeds of hemp plants, and while CBD also comes from the hemp plant, it doesn’t come from the seeds. Cultivators extract CBD from the other hemp plant parts – the leaves, flowers, and stalks.
Want to Try Hemp Oil First? Check out These Brands
Hemp oil also boasts a ton of benefits, and it’s much easier to buy. Two of the most popular brands are Nutiva and MARQ Nutrition, both of which sell their oils on Amazon.
Nutiva
Nutivia’s hemp oil is seriously some of the best on the market. The brand sells its Organic Cold-Pressed Unrefined Hemp Oil in 8, 24, and 128 fluid ounce bottles. It’s rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, along with chlorophyll and antioxidants. I also admire that it’s 100% vegan, paleo, and gluten-free.
MARQ Nutrition
You can literally get 500,000 drops out of a one-ounce bottle of MARQ Nutrition Hemp Seed Oil. Like Nutivia’s oil, this oil boasts tons of healthy fatty acids – Omega 3, 6, and 9. It also has digestive enzymes and both Vitamins B and C plus there’s no artificial flavouring! This hemp oil is as authentic as it gets.
Side Effects of Hemp Oil
A simple google search shows that there are a few side effects of Hemp Oil. The most common ones include drowsiness and dry mouth. I have not personally had any of these aftereffects, but everyone reacts differently. If you are new to CBD or hemp oil, it’s best to start small and see how you feel before going all in.
So, Is It Legal?
In many countries around the world, CBD’s legality is often a grey area. Cannabidiol oil is legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill (provided that the oil does not have more than 0.03% THC). In my country, Australia, CBD oil is available with a prescription.
Unfortunately, CBD is off-limits in many Asian, Middle Eastern, and a handful of Latin American countries. I encourage you to research the rules in your locale before attempting to order CBD oil online. Be sure to note the THC level – the cannabis compound that gives you the ‘high’ feeling. Even if CBD oil is legal in your state or province, the government may impose a limit on the level of THC.
Reap the Benefits of Cannabis Oil Uses and Feel Great
I genuinely hope that I’ve enlightened you, especially if you’re new to CBD oil. Based on my personal experience, this seemingly simple oil is a great daily supplement. Be it chronic pain or anxiety, CBD Oil will make a difference. But don’t just take my word; try it for yourself!
